We are looking for a New Business & Project Manager who will be responsible for wrangling clients and harnessing the talent of Mucca’s team to meet clients’ needs. (S)he will be the first point of contact with each potential client, negotiate our deal with the client, and then be in charge of making sure that the project is executed efficiently by the Mucca team.

-Is organized, enjoys planning and creating systems to increase productivity
-Is charismatic and will enjoy building relationships with current and prospective clients
-Is not afraid of being the ‘bad cop’ both internally (i.e., with the team) and externally (i.e., with clients)
-Writes well and likes to work with numbers
-New Business: Seeking and engaging new clients, writing proposals and cost estimates, building relationships within the industry
-Project Management: Managing and scheduling projects from inception through to completion, managing team workflow, being the ‘point person’ with Mucca’s clients, and liaising with our legal counsel and accountant
-Studio Management: Leading internal planning meetings, managing the studio calendar, budgeting, staying on top of payments
-Proven success courting potential clients and interacting with current clients at a design studio or agency is a must.
-Experience creating cost estimates and writing proposals
-Project management (or similar) expertise
-Candidates should have both a high tolerance for and a demonstrated propensity for making poop jokes (but not in front of *most* clients)

Mucca is a small, close-knit team. We eat lunch together every day. Nobody is really junior and everyone chips in on everything—our president is happy to wash dishes and our most ‘junior’ designer will lead client presentations.
