The last word in software promotions.

Adobe, the global leader in digital media, came to us when they wanted to market the new version of their popular InDesign software. With longtime collaborator Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich, we conceived Words at Play, a book highlighting the features and creative potential of the technology. Featuring typographic portraits of celebrated writers and personalities, the concept extended to a website that engaged visitors through an artful orchestration of sound, animation, and design, as well as an award-winning promotional flip book.

The Words at Play received a coveted Webby Award for “Best Home/Welcome Page.” The overwhelming success of the materials inspired a continued collaboration between Mucca, Vicq de Cumptich, and Adobe, including designs for the Adobe Design Achievement Awards.
