When Whole Foods Market planned its first store in Brooklyn, they asked us to redesign their private label and signage system to better connect with local DIYers, artists and artisans. Working closely with the Whole Foods team, Mucca created an entirely new design language that builds upon their commitment to handcrafted, high quality goods.

In a retail environment like Whole Foods, where new products are introduced on a daily basis, each system needed to be versatile enough to fit a broad range of products.
Both systems have helped lay the groundwork for an exciting new stage in evolving the Whole Foods brand. Originally developed for the company’s flagship store in Gowanus, it has since been implemented in stores throughout the U.S.
