A 19th-Century men’s club now welcomes all

With its Venetian Gothic façade, this former elite men’s club has presided over Chicago’s Millenium Park since 1893. Lavishly restored by Roman and Williams,  it is now a boutique luxury hotel and part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection.

Mucca partnered with Commune Hotels and AJ Capital to create a brand as rich as the history of the building itself. A custom typeface based on original signage found in the building defines the brand’s wayfinding and identity, while references to athletics pay homage to the heritage of the site.
