The Fulton

Chef Jean-Georges revives his seaport roots

Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s celebrated seafood restaurant debuted this year at Pier 17, the vanguard of the transformation of lower Manhattan. On the former site of the Fulton Fish Market, it’s a waterfront tribute to an area the chef fell in love with in his early years.

Our branding is an homage to the romantic lyricism of the sea, underscored by surreal subaquatic murals by En-Viu and the elegant nautical interiors by Yabu Pushelberg. With sweeping views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, The Fulton reminds New Yorkers that they’re surrounded by the treasures of the ocean.
